Chris and Amanda made the trip back to Graceville, Florida to spend some time with their immediate families. Also, they went to Mattox Photography and had their engagement photo session. The pictures are available for viewing and purchase online. Just go to the Mattox website and click on "Web Albums". The event name is "Amanda Howell" and the password is "HOWELL" in all caps. E-mail us if you have a preference of which photo we should use in the newspaper announcement. NOTE: These will only be viewable online until December 29th.

Amanda and Chris met David and Judy Bush, Howell family friends for dinner. David agreed to play piano for the wedding ceremony in August.

Amanda and Chris traveled to Lyons, Georgia to visit some of Amanda's extended family for Thanksgiving Day. After lots of good food and good times, they turned right around and drove back to Jacksonville, Florida so Chris could be at work on Friday.

So, Chris didn't do anything today except work on the webpage and watch football. He updated the Guestbook Page with an online e-mail form that can be used without an e-mail program to send a message to both Chris and Amanda. This was the one request that Amanda had for Chris that he didn't know how to do until today.

After much discussion and thought, Chris and Amanda decided to hold the wedding at First Baptist Church in Graceville, Florida. This is the church they both attended as they grew up in Graceville.

Chris and Amanda spoke with Greg Ford, their former Youth Minister from First Baptist Chuch in Graceville. He has agreed to perform the wedding ceremony.

Chris and Amanda went back home to Graceville, Florida to inform the town of their engagement.

Having setup the website prior to proposing, Chris updated the website with the engagement information.

Chris and Amanda decided that the wedding date would be August 21, 2004. The reason for choosing this date is because it will mark the 7-year anniversary of when they started dating (Aug 21, 1997).

FINALLY!!! Chris and Amanda are finally engaged. After 6+ years of dating, starting in high school, before Amanda even had her driver's license, Chris bought a ring and proposed. We've created this web site to help fill everyone in on our plans, and to offer information we think might be useful to our friends and family. We'll post updates as the big day gets closer.
